– Participants will gain insight into subtle feline body language that signals discomfort. They will learn how to approach shy cats so as to not exacerbate aggressive behavior and/or increase overall stress in the shelter environment. Participants will learn how to effectively use classical and operant conditioning to decrease feline stress with handling and increase their confidence with people to promote faster adoption rates.

A comprehensive course on feline body language and learning. Participants will learn proper greeting methods, cooperative care protocols, and stress reduction techniques for cats in a shelter environment.
